I've been in this complex for 5 years now (2 in one apartment, 3 in another with a new roomate). I've been threatened with eviction three times due to "late rent". Once cause management did not send the statement in time, twice cause management misplaced my check. Just last year, tenants were told they would all have to pay an extra $15 a month for cleanup expenses cause residents weren't cleaning up after their dogs (I don't have a dog). Just recently, we had to drop our current renters insurance and switch to a company that would list Victorian Gardens on the policy. Problem was that management said we needed to get the new policy in April for a lease renewal in July - no insurance company would do that. We finally got the insurance plan last week and sent it in. Management responded by threating a $100 fine unless we sent it in (they misplaced the policy!!!!). Though management stinks, you'll be hard pressed to find apartments with 2 full baths, air conditioning, and washer/dryer in the unit all for a decent price - just be ready to go insane trying to be a "good" tenant!

If you paid your rent on time you would not have this problem. I hahve lived here for 2yrs and management has been excellent with any of my maintance problems or concerns and suggestions. Tenants in this complex do not clean up after there dogs and that is why they are not renewing leases with tenants that already have dogs. All tenants with animals I do not feel sorry for you, your fellow tenants ruined it for everyone. In my opinion there are a lot of white uneducated,rude,demanding trash living here. this complex is tto good for you live in Central Islip, Brentwwod where you belong.

To CLASSYTENANT, How dare you! You do not feel sorry for all the tenants with animals. I have lived here for 5 years a lot longer than you I might add. I just bought my dog in January. I clean up after my dog every single time. Don't you go putting everyone in the same boat. I know the management personally because I have lived here so long and according to them it is only a handful of people who are not cleaning up after their dogs. You must not know the things that I do around here. Such as the plumbing system only working at 40% rather than the 80% it should be by law. How about some of the roofs need to fixed but they can't find a roofing company who is willing to work for Cassata Organization. The people who live on ground floor apartments have a thin piece of padding under the carpets and children have been hurt because it's like they are falling onto a cement floor. The cars that are broken into because management won't get security. Management refuses to call people back no matter how many messages are left for them. The list goes and and on with the many issues here at Victorian Gardens. Yes, they have the worst management here. They have lost tenant's checks on many occasions. Their accounting is terrible. Maybe you should get out more and talk to your fellow tentants. You might learn something. You must be one of the uneducated people yourself because you have made many spelling errors. You think you know what you are talking about here but you obviously have no clue.

Bravo,lovemygta!!! We lived there from the summer of 1999 until we left late 2001. Almost everyone there hated the management -- rude, incompetent, and full of themselves. Michelle Cassata has no business running a complex, and her family's company has been sued countless times from what I understand. Unfortunately, they let a lot of trashy, uneducated people live there, as is evidenced by "classytenant". We were extremely dissatisfied with the workmanship of the apartment, the inept management, and the quality of some of the tenants allowed to live there. The day we pulled out of the complex with our loaded moving truck was oneof the happiest days of my life! I have never met anyone who was happy living there.

Lovemygta, I am also a resident, and you are absolutely correct about the losing of rent checks, and the cleaning up after pets. I clean up after mine and others that don't as well.Management allowed dogs to boost rentals, and once they did and realized that pets may take a little work the dumped all us pet owners out.I have to leave in October and really don't have the money to do so. Michelle Cassada is a heartless woman and you are absolutely right by saying that she doesn't deserve to run this complex

ATTENTION PET OWNERS!!! NORHT ISLE COMPLEX IN CORAM HAS 1 BEDROOM APTS FOR $965.00 AND 2 BEDROOM APTS FOR $1345.00 WITH 1.5 BATHROOMS AND THEY DO ALLOW DOGS EXCEPT FOR AGRESSIVE ONES.

to classytenant i think you should look into a mirror before you go judging anyone on being WHITE TRASH, uneducated people what makes you any better to live here I think you should keep your race remarks to yourself did your mother every teach you if you don't have anything nice to say don't say it at all, or maybe you were not educated on this lesson in life-- here just remember your day of judgement will come oneday before a higher power then the cassata family P.S. you talk about the uneducated people you should re-check your spelling and then call yourself stupid
