I am a resident Here at VG for almost five years. Unfortuanetly, due to Dogs being non benificial to the comunity,I and my dog have to go.In January Dogs were permitted here as long as you paid a 500.00 non refundable deposit 25.00 a month, proof of ownership and current shots, from the Vet. There are aprox. 30 people with LEGITIMATE dogs here. Some do not clean up. Most do. The big issue would probably be the brown spots on the lawn, due to the lack of facilities for the dogs. They installed cans on a post with a sign and put bags out. Then they removed the bags because they claimed that kids were pulling them out and throwing them all over. I believe that it was the fact that the illegal dog owners then would have bags. They allow you to get bags at the clubhouse a few days a week. No ammenities, they never said where the dogs should urinate. This did cause the grass to brown in places but there was no designated area. They also never let all the dogs get introduced to thecommunity. All dog owners should have had a tag or ID on their leash so that everyone knows that the dog has its shots and is deemed safe to the community. Some dog owners did call to try to be able to resign but managment ignored their requests.
The grounds are beautiful, the management is Heartless and cruel, they never mail anything to you except the rent and there hasn't been a new letter since July/ August of 2005. If you would like to see this newsleter it it is STILL in the clubhouse on the info board as current info, there is also someone looking for a tennis partner, and some girl needs a sitting job. She is probably in college by now. Maintanace is good, it is definetly the managment that sucks.I am lucky enough to be able to find something to move into but I feel bad for anyone who has to break their lease to buy a house and not get their security back.I also hate to know that after I am gone there will still be dogs there and I, by following the rules, I getkicked out. I would never recommend anyone to rent here, because of the manegment alone.

I have to agree with management banning dogs in the complex. When I drive through the complex al you see is brown stains and poop on the lawns, most dog owners do not carry a bag with them.

I was thinking the same thing vgnothappyrenter06. Go get a life tenantvicgardens. I actually think that the people on this site who agree with the Mgmt. are working for them. Because anyone to ever side with them is crazy. There are so many areas not just spots whole areas where the grass is all burnt so they Mgmt. can't be all that concerned about the urine brown spots now can they. They don't even take care of the grounds properly.
