I have been living here for about 11 months and when I first moved in any thing that needed to be fixed was taken care of ASAP. Only 3 months here the bathroom above us was leaking and water would come through the ceiling and all over the floor I had to call the emergency line 2 times and they came 3 times before they addressed the problem, and recently the shelf in the bedroom closet fell off the way and called management about a good 20 times and got the run around she is out to lunch she is not at her desk she will call you back, then they don't know if the part was ordered they have to check and get back to you and then they never call back. (STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMMUNITY THE OWNERS SEEm TO BE FOR THEMSELVES AND YOU WILL ONLY BE A RENT ENVELOPE. And 1 month and a half the closet is still not fixed I can't even confirm that the part has been ordered. Also moved into the complex b/c they allowed dogs and to make a better way of living for my family, and then in May 2006 a letter went around to tenants (THAT I NEVER RECEIVED AND HAD TO HEAR IT FROM ANOTHER TENANT) management could not afford the $12.00 to send out letters to the 30 dog owners, disgraceful how the owner could think so little about someone's family. Maybe if the people who had nothing better to do but complain, maybe they should have put sometime into trying to make it a better place and supply suggestions instead of always calling managemnet and bitching. Dog owners moved into the community for a better living and these dog owners have children who attend schools and the kids are attached to the dog (THE DOG IS NOT CONSIDERED JUST AN AMINAL BUT A FAMILY MEMBER). Our family has had our dog for 8 years and we will move before we have to get rid of our dog. If certain people race or religion that live here don't like the dogs maybe they should find a different place to live. I think management should have attempted to find a way to make it better for all tenants, maybe they should have increased the pet fee from $25.00 to $35.00, put back the bags to the dog stations, tenants complained the kids pulled out the bags (maybe the kids should be removed since they act like the animals not the dogs)should have supplied dog tags to legal dog owners so tenats would feel safe and know the dog was registerd with management. The funny part new tenants who just moved are seen with dogs but they state NO DOGS ALLOWED! Having a child of my own I see the kids play around in this complex and they act more like animals then my dog acts they jump all over the playground move the bench so they can climb over and jump, I removed my child 2 times b/c it was unsafe to play. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I completly agree with you. Read my response that I wrote to the person who posted It's OK. I to have children who believe it or not consider their dog their brother. That's how much they are attached to their dog and love it. I have also stated myself that Michelle is a cold, ruthless, evil woman who doesn't even fathom what she is doing to families but who only cares about the god almighty dollar. Something has to be done about this dog situation. Why should the people who are responsible with their dogs be punsished. The only reason they give is because a few select tenants don't pick up after their dog. Well, then throw them out. My kids also have friends and your right why should we then have to try and find another place to live hopefully in the same schools. In my response to the It's OK post I said let a judge tell me I have to leave because otherwise I'm not going quietly. You are also correct to the fact that yes, I to have seen NEW people move in with dogs. The Mgmt. is crazy. I have heard that their is alot of people moving out and they are having a hard time finding new tenants so that might explain why they are again allowing new people to move in with dogs. But what about the the rest of us that currently live here. This whole situation just seems to me almost unconstitutional. I have contacted an attorney and they have said to me that being they have allowed dogs they have now waived their right to a no dog policy and their is pet laws to protect us and she advised me to not get rid of my dog and do not leave. Also, to the people who have children it may be considered harm to them if you have to leave your residence or get rid of your pet because of this and that we may have a case against them but it would cost thousands of dollars. I just hope that the Mgmt. will see they are being cruel and maybe allow us pet owners to be able to renew or leases when the time comes. But given their track record I just don't know. What do mean by if certain people, race or religion live that here don't like dogs. Have you heard this to be a problem because I would love to know. That is something I haven't heard yet.

All of you need to learn how to WRITE. I have never read such poorly composed letters before. If you want to make a statement you should be able to do so in PROPER English, grammar, and spelling....

stay very far away everything looks good on the outside wait until you get in --- then you can say welcome to victorian HELL gardens b/c the owners are like DEVILS hiding behind the faces of humans. Michele Cassata is a c-u-next-tuesday- the fat ----- should not be running this place, she is extremely unproffesional and rude...What goes around comes around, hopefully her husband(Who owns victorian gardens)will wise up and see the reason nobody will rent from here and get the hell out of here once their lease is up, is because of her - maybe when he realizes that he'll boot her out of here and leave her ugly ass - the rest of the office staff and maintenence is so rude because that ----- is their boss....I'd be pissed off and disgruntled too if I had to work for her...unfortunatly they take their anger out on the tenants.

Well, I am new to Victorian Gardens as of Sep 07 and I have had a little mishap here and there but there is a new superintendent as I was explained that is handling the property now. He took over the position of the previous super, because of all the complaints and so called 'back ordered parts', and he seems to know hat he is doing. When I moved in the old super was there and I kept getting excuses from him, but this new guy is on top of everything. Maybe I am just lucky but it doesn't seem so bad. They do have their issues but I wouldn't call it Hell gardens.

Wow, I think some people need to take anger Mgmt Classes! I also think michele cassatas husband should kick your ass! Obviously they are intelligent business people and it sounds like envy... who is rude??? I think the ----- is not inside michele, you should all check out her kindness, not her weak points which appear to be all you miserable, unkind people...I am a former resident that resided for many years at Victorian and have Lupus which Mrs Cassata has helped me personally on many levels and many others that I know of....What do you unkind people know about caring? If you did you would not make such unkind comments about anyone.
