I've been in the apartment about two months now, and I don't have any complaints. It is in great working order, and having two bathrooms is a great advantage.

I'm on the ground floor, and I have not heard much noise from upstairs. The floors and walls seem to be fairly well insulated.

Probably the noisiest thing in the apartment is the dishwasher. It is probably "bottom of the line" but living alone, I don't have to run it often. The heating system can be a little noisy too. When the heat turns off, you hear a fairly large clank, but that is about it.

Overall, I'd highly recommend this place.

Read the first review ever written on this thread. I wrote it when I still used to live there. Now I own a home in North Carolina. I moved out in the summer of 2005 and very happily so, rented an apt. in NC. What a night and day difference in the service you get here vs. in Long Island. The owners and the rest of the management in VG are down right bestial and ignorant in property management. Someone in the early posts wrote that they make the life of a regular tenant hell while not being able to "gain control" over the few tenants who are really problematic. This post by the way sounds like it was written by management. Too fluffy to be true. ha ha.... pay more for a way better place.

LOL - wait until your there for a little while longer...when you need something fixed or your a single day late on your rent - we were 2 days late one tinme - in 2 years we were never ever late, yet right away they sent an eviction threat and wanted over $150 for the additional 2 days late(illegal by the way to charge that high of a percentage on your rent, no matter what you agreed to in the lease) once you threaten them that you are going to have your lawyer contact them about this over inflated fee - the late fee magically goes away...don't be fooled by these people; they are money hungry scumbags and don't give a crap about their tenants. we got the hell out of that place and have never been happier!
