Where do we begin' How about the astronomical rent increase of 2009'' How about /- $200 more than comparable units in the area. How about the extreme noise transfer through the floors which enable you to hear entire conversations, coughing, sneezing and wait for it - really, SNORING. . . Hope you got a good pair of ear plugs to sleep with - or someone to bash you over the head with something to knock you out!
How about a near impossible office manager' It's real fun when you are having a problem and you need to go over to the office to discuss it. God forbid you don't have any questions - cause you will be met with answers such as "I don't know" and "I am not discussing that with you" or how bout - "Get out of my office or I will call the police!"
The rent increases every year have averaged at 60 - 80 per year and this year was jacked up to almost 90. After making a scene about it - and researching prices in the area for like apts, we were in receipt of a letter, Sunset was not renewing our lease. When we asked for a reason we were told to leave the office. Don't even think about exercising your tenant's rights (as enforced and issued by the NYS Attorney General's office) or else you will get the boot.
Tribes of kids running rampant unsupervised; no designated place for kids to play, unless you count the parking lot or the unkept "dog run".
Look out when you are taking the trash out late at night, in your slippers, you may get a very unpleasant, squishy surprise.
No rules are enforced. Be ready to fight for your right. They tout peaceful home like living in their adds, I would rather be home living with my mom and dad at 35 yrs old.
Save yourself, save your money, save your sanity. . . don't even consider renting here. . .

They are right - wish I knew of this web site before renting. The present manager is the unpleasant and that is being nice. The laundry rooms are in never cleaned and the machines not repaired for 6 months after notifyed multiple times. The swimming pool is not open and it's mid July. The extensive work needed on the pool was not started until after July 4th so management could save money. It is quite evident they do not care about their tenants.
