I've lived at Brookwood for about 8 months now. I have never had such a bad experience renting an apartment until now.
For example, the management advertises that heat and hot water are included.

Well since this winter has arrived I have had to pay a surcharge for heat. Apparently Liverpool's taxes went up this year, so as of January 1st I've also had to pay a tax surcharge as well. So ontop of my rent, I now pay 2 additional charges.

If you have maintance issues, I hope you have some patience. It takes the maintance crew about 1 month before they even come to your apartment to "look" at the problem. When I spoke to management I was told "we have alot of apartments so you can't expect us to make it to yours to quickly" WHAT!'!'! I've lived in complexes that have double the amount of apartments and maintance was there within the day, if not the next day. SInce I'm on the topic of maintance you do not get a choice of weither you want them in your place when you are home or not. They come into your place, home or not. They knock really loudly, but if you are sleeping or in the shower... we'll lets just say you might have a unexpected visit, since maintance DOES NOT call you ahead of time either.

There are tons of other examples that I have. I would not rent here at all. I know three other familys that live here and they all feel the same way. As soon as our lease is up, we are gone.

I too live here and I agree with everything above and all of the other negative reviews. I plan to move as soon as my lease is up. This place has been one big disappointment.
