These apartments are horrible. They advertise on all the websites with central air, dishwashers, and security. A member of maintenance told me no apartment here is even set up for true central air, we are lucky that cool air even comes out. I have lived in two different apartments here and never had a dishwasher. The rent goes up at least $20 every year yet no improvements are made. The playground has not gotten new woodchips in at least 5 years so cement is showing through under the slides and swings and the woodchips there are usually mixed with glass and other garbage. I live on the second floor so my balcony is pretty high up. After three reports of kids climbing people's balconies and taking stuff off the balcony and/or entering the kitchen and stealing I thought I had talked the office people into giving me a new door that didn't have a broken window lock, then i come home to find out maintenance was there and used big ugly screws to screw my window closed, so now the window doesn't open, but I still have a twenty year old door that does not function properly. I have never ever seen anything even remotely related to security being done here. The hallways are rarely cleaned. The washer/dryer in each building is old and out of order a lot. The wiring in most buildings is not up to code. There was actually a fire and a building burnt down two years ago, shortly after I had a time warner cable man in my apartment installing cable and he told me he was working on that building about 6 months before it burnt down and spoke to the office and maintenance about the wiring in the building being off and the fire risk and they blew him off and did nothing about it. If that doesn't prove they do not care about their tenants I don't know what does. The best thing about these apartments when i moved in was the price, and that is even going up now, I wouldn't wish these living conditions on my worst enemy. There is a drug dealer in every other building and police are frequently visiting for break-ins, the violence around here, and kids. About three weeks ago my neighbor heard kids fighting outside and looked out his window just in time to see a teenage boy pulling out a gun. Akll walls are paper thin, can hear all my neighbors conversations. The walls are cracked and don't consider a basement floor plan, you will either have flooding or mold. Don't move here.

I can not wait until my lease is up. Things aren't always what they appear. Tires being slashed in the parking lot, apartments being broken into...Fights in the parking lot with extremely loud music in the wee hours of the night. Not to mention maintenance can not seem to fix a problem in my apartment that has been ongoing since I moved in
