we have lived here for 6 months, in a one (1)bedroom. spacious for a 1 bedroom, but very expensive. alot of extra costs. When we applied the management told us it was in our budget of $700 total. yeah right. monthly rent $643 $14 - "utillity surgharge", heat and hot water incl. (but not water). Still not sure what a surcharge is for if we have our own electric bill, electric avg. $35, laundry card cash per month for 2 people = $20-25, water and sewer bill $16 month. grand total = $733not including food gas money phone or cable.
we we not told about the surcharge, then asked and managment says its for mainteinence. They read us the wrong meter # got apt 5 bill of $68 for a 2 bedroom, finally was credited then recieved a notice 4 months later of a late utility chare of $17, with no explination so i called and asked they didnt know so they got back to me and said it was from september when they paid a balance from september 1st through 13th before we even moved in on prorated mid month leaseafter the 13th, then told me to call niagra mowhawk to make sure when they couldnt give me that information b/c it was in there file for the apartments. wtf!!! what a mess. paint on the walls was tacky for 2 months alot of painted over rust and crackled moldy paint. neighbors were extremly loud floors were old and loud but their child would run around constantly almost making as much noise as possible, complained 2 times but the management didnt say anything because the floors aare old it couldnt be that bad. bull****. try telling the parents to teacher their kid not to run in the house all damn day! man. drive someone insane.
