Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2008
My girlfriend and I lived there for a whole year. It was hell the whole time. The neighbors are rude, and ignorant of other peoples lives. The neighbor we had upstairs would play music extremely loud until 1 a.m. in the morning. After repeated phone calls to management, who did absolutely nothing, I had to resort to calling the cops practically evvery night. On top of this I caught the neighbor upstairs urinating off his balcony, which happened to be 3 feet from an open window. Management is all about getting your money, but when you really need help they could care less. Hidden costs are everywhere. And during the winter he managed to flood his bathroom which in turn flooded our apartment. Maintenance saw the damage, but nothing was ever done about it.
If we wanted to resign the lease it would have been an extra 200 dollars a month. The place wasn't even worth what we were paying to begin with. It's been 2 months since moving out. All our bills were paid in full, yet they still send us letters saying we owe money on the electric. The bill comes to roughly $60 for the month of september. This is twice the amount we were paying per month with actual fixtures plugged in (we had moved out a month early, so the apartment sat empty for a month).
If you are going to move here, make sure to bring a big economy sized jar of vaseline. Just to make sure when they stick into your ass that it goes in a little easier.
