I lived here from about November 2001 to September 2004. In late 2003 there was a change of owners. Since then, the quality of maintance went downhill. They were more concerned with getting the empty apartments remodeled and rented, than taking care of the current renters.
1) A drain pipe from the roof broke and soaked the carpet in my apt. It took them about a week to come over with a shop vac and suck up the water. Then they dumped the shop vac in my tub and didn't bother cleaning it. The shop vac had a lot of plaster dust in it when they dumped it. Also they continued to promise me that they would replace the pad and capret. This happened in Dec of 2003. When I moved out in Aug of 2004, they were still promising me that they were going to replace the carpet.
2) I had also rented one of the garages. During the winter of 2003-2004, some water had gotten under the concrete at the door, froze, which caused the concrete to pop up. This meant that I could not close the door all the way down. I contacted the office in April about getting this fixed. They never called me back.
3) Cars are routinely left in the parking lot without plates and/or expired registration, even though that's against the lease. It wouldn't be so bad if they were in the far corner of the lot, but they are right up near the door, taking a spot from someone that could use it.
4) Plowing during the winter was half-assed. They would just do the main drives, ignoring the parking spots. As a result, you would need to drive up onto 4" of hard packed snow to park.
5) They do not follow their own rules in regard to accessing apartments. According to the rules, they are to leave a note whenever they enter the apartment for maintance when the renter is not there. They never did with me during the problems with the water leak.
