I lived there for 2 years. I had to start by paying a $350 non-refundable security deposit, I had to pay for all my utilities...but now they include basic cable, but wait...you have to pay more for it whether you like it or not, the water company tacked on an additional fee for paying my bill either by check or by credit card (one costs more than the other) when I left they charge me a fee to cancel my service...that doesnt really get cancelled because they dont shut the water off...they're just a third part that have nothing to do with the water company. They also tacked on a late fee to my final bill when I didnt pay late, they just did it for fun I guess because when I called about it they refunded the late fee. 4 months after I moved out, dawn homes sent me a bill for $100 for cleaning! I apparently need to pay for them to prep the apartment for the next tenants...but thats not included in the $350 NON-REFUNDABLE SECURITY DEPOSIT!!! This company is just a mess. The apartments are not safe due to the ghetto thats right behind it (belmont village) and all the kids smoking weed in the parking lots and around the buildings. I woke up one morning to a kid sleeping on my porch! During the summer, the pool is never open when you want it to be...they often have trouble finding a lifegaurd to work. You can hear every little peep from your neighbors upstairs or downstairs. The ceilings are paper thin. I can actually say that the kelly, the office manager is pretty cool along with the maintenance staff. Other than that, this complex is a HELL no!
