A Nightmare... glad to be out.

The (almost) 2 years I spent living in Evergreen Manor were nothing short of hell. My neighbors were very loud. They threw parties and played loud music late into the night, several times in which I had to call the police. My downstairs neighbor had 2 volumes: loud and louder. I repeatedly heard his voice, as well as music (complete with booming bass) through the thin walls and flooring of my apartment. It was especially courteous when he came home from (I'm assuming) the night shift on weekends and would talk at high volumes on his cell phone, or to his friends who dropped him off outside my apartment window (and I lived on the second floor!)

My boyfriend and I even once had to call 911 as we heard one of our other female neighbors being brutalized...

Any upkeep to the place was destroyed by the children who lived not only downstairs from myself, but around the apartment complex. But the WORST thing I encountered was when the headlights from my brand new 2006 car were stolen from the parking lot within the 2 months I had purchased the car. Never again did I feel safe in that apartment. I suffered many sleep-deprived nights worrying about it happening again. What if they attacked me instead of my car'' Nope, that's when I'd had enough and decided to move.

I terminated my lease and they would not return my security deposit, which was almost $1300. Completely unfair. I was a great tenant/ neighbor, gave my 30-days notice, left my apartment clean, and paid every rent on-time, in full. I saw not one red cent. And for all of the garbage I went through, you would think there would be some compassion... Nope. Not at all. Greed is a terrible thing. Well, what goes around, comes around. Don't live here, for your own safety and sanity.
