I'm Satisfied with My Community

I have been living in Imperial Ridge for about 5 years now, having moved up from the city. There has been a change in management and staff over this time, and I have seen a definite improvement.
Management has been able to rid itself of some undesireable residents, who were already living here when Westminster Management took over. (This has been a blessing, due to the fact that these residents were bringing in the wrong element to the community.) Yes, there are problems that exist with young teens loitering and such, but this community is not a "gated community", and to do so would cost thousands of dollars and most likely raise everyone's rent. Residents here must take a more involved attitude and report anything that they think is suspicious behavior. I am sure that the people who complain about things would be the very last ones to take part in improving their community!!
As far as management stafrf, the maintenace technicians are very good. While it is true that sometimes you may need to remind the office of requests for repairs, it is usually done right the first time. I understand that the office is short staffed at the moment, hence the reason for delay in service. The managers there are, as far as I know, very understanding and willing to help whenever thay can. There is a new leasing agent, who is very personable and pleasant, unlike the former girl, and takes time to listen to your needs and who will go out of her way to have your needs serviced. There is a definite improvement in the type of people moving here now, since this new leasing agent has been doing a great job in screening potential residents. The Resident Manager tries very hard to do her part as well, and the Property Manager is the type of person who will help you in any way he can if you really have a serious problem and need some help.
The fitness center is opened 7 days a week, understandably it cannot be opened 24hrs, but for a very minimal fee, you get to use the gym and get a free pass to the pool.
The grounds are well kept and landscaped. Snow removal has improved over the years. The laundry room tends to be the only problem I see so far; old machines that break down alot. I understand a new laundry center is being built, but when that project will be completed is unknown.
All in all, I am very satisfied with this nice community. I hope things continue to improve and that residents take part and be active and conscious and take pride in their surrounding.
This beats living in a congested, dirty, expensive city anytime!!!

It could happen anywhere, but it happened here. Follow the link to this newspaper article: http://www.recordonline.com/archive/2005/08/23/3.htm Watch renting bottom floor apartments in this complex. It is not the first time there have been rapes and burglaries here.
