Overpriced, poorly managed, poorly constructed

There are not many options in Middletown for nicer apartments, and while the Regency Club appears to be such a place, it deffinatly is not. Noise is a constant problem, whether it be loud children, loud music, or just people walking around on the floor above you; there is rarely a moment of peace.
The maintenance department is VERY unreliable, sometimes not returning calls for days at a time and often they are unable to fix the problems when they do stop in. Our A/C broke on a bi-weekly basis and was never running well in our 20 months there.
The buildings were constructed poorly, shingles fly off the roof during every wind storm, the insluation is VERY sub standard and leaves the apartments with HIGH utility bills and condensation on the windows year round. There are numerous stress cracks and buckling walls from the poorly designed structures.
The management is a nightmare to deal with and they take every opportunity to screw over good tennants when they leave in order to recoup some of the losses they experience when one of there VERY frequent evictions take place.
Life at the Regency Club is a joke, everyone on that management team should go home at night and feel bad about the lives they lead.

Absolutely disagree. we were one of the first tenants who moved into the regency club so there were several construction issues which were handled in a great timely manner. We think the management is wonderful. They stay on top and try to correct any problems. The property manager definitely cares about the tenants. Has always followed up when we had issues and the maintenance issues were always handled in a timely manner. My husband and I are very happy here. They are beautiful apartments with nice neighbors. We feel it is a nice community to live in.

I totally agree with the MMirlich complaint totally. There are cracks in the walls and the windows are not properly insulated that you can actually feel the breeze coming through it.The closets have plastic shelving that seem to be very cheap to hang up your clothes and to store things on.This is suppose to be a luxury apartment,But you cannot put too much weight on thes plastic shelvings or they will rip off the walls!Let me tell you another nightmare about the paint job they have there,It is so cheap that everytime you tap it with nothing but moving a light chair or other it leaves a mark, that is how cheap the paint is.Soot of candles that are even encased saftely doesn't matter because it rises to the corner and it seems to attract dirt and causes more dirt to the rugs as well.Very poorly done paint job and cheap paint is the cause of this.Even though the leasing manager appears to be helpful at first, BEWARE!Because they will screw you over especially when you have been a good, responsible, thoughtful, clean, great tenant. Tenent"s should be aware that you probably will not get all your security back because they will find any excuse to screw you over big time even though they know that they are wrong big time.I do not know how the leasing manger and the owners sleep at night doing this to good tenants of there's.Believe me it was a big shock to me that they took advantage of me and my disabled baby.At first i thought they were concerned about me as a tennant but that quickly changed when it was time to get my deposit back and all of a sudden they made excuses about the horrible rug they have in the apartments when i know for a fact i had alot of furniture that covered the majority of the rugs but they actually made up things,Even though it was cleaned before i left a few times, about the normal wear and tear of the rugs and when i asked for proof,I never got it.They just took the money without a word, even though i was in constant contact with the leasing manager after i moved when i was following up on, when i was getting my security back.It was not once, mentioned that this is what they were doing,Planning to ripp me off.So before you are even consedering moving into this "Nightmare on Elm Street" housing and put that huge deposit down there is a great chance that you will not be getting it back! Not unless you are probably law enforcement or military,Maybe you will stand a chance, but not the civilians!Word to the wise,You can fight for your rights!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The buildings are poorly designed so our utility bills were out of the roof with the cracks in the building. If you live on the bottom floor you can hear the people living above you prancing around. PARKING is the worst possible issue. Even after complaining several times, our parking spot was frequently taken. I did not have any other major maintenance concerns.
