Avalon on The Sound is a great place to live. The office staff is very friendly, helpful, and go out of their way. The maintence staff is absolutely wonderful. During the black out I dropped my keys down the elevator shaft and they went down to retrieve them immediately. The property is well kept as well. The gym is nice has several kinds of circut training and cardio equipment plus, never busy either. The grills outside are great. They are gas, you don't have to get charcol. They even offer movie rentals which are free. The only thing is that they are old, but it's free. It is great to be located right by Metro North stop, VERY convent. They also have a clubhouse that has free coffee and tea, which I frequent often.
We live on the 15th floor and have a great view of the long island sound,but our carpet needs to be removed.
Complaints:
They wanted a $500 renewal for the lease during the winter. They need a 60 day notice of vacancy. Plus, the laundry room downstairs doesn't have a change machine so you have to save your quarters which is a big inconvience. BuLYzGcKAVo8MQPlcXJq
