Reasonably good, but noisy

Pros:
The building is pleasant, comfortable and well decorated. The community is cosmopolitan. Parking is ample and convenient, train station is a step away, gym and pool areas are in good shape and never crowded. Free computers with DSL connection, FAX and copier, free propane grills for BBQ lovers. Management is friendly and efficient. They make regular wine&cheese or BBQ parties to help tenants meet each other. The Long Island Sound view is gorgeous! The rent is reasonable if you manage to get a promotional rate. Shoping, restaurants, and nice parks are nearby.
Cons:
The Sound side is very noisy: traffic noise from Huguenot street seems to be amplified by the V-shape of the building. If your balcony door is open, every fire-track, ambulance, Harley-Davidson or boom-box lover passing by (and they ALL do!) will make you jump in your chair. Sound isolation between some apartments is laughable, but you stop laughing when you get a noisy neghbor! The same with a balcony: be prepared to share every joke and cigarette puff with your unknown friend. You will be surprised to see a $30 sewage fee on you monthly bill in addition to water, electricity, cable and other predictable expenses.
