Management is DECEITFUL, DISHONEST and LACKS COMMUNICATION SKILLS.

Do not rent here under the current management. Make sure you are shown the apartment you are getting. Upon my visit, I was shown a penthouse level of the model I wanted, which they promised me the exact same apartment only on a lower level and with a different view facing Westchester. Every question I asked the leasing agent, her response was It will be completely the same, just a different view on a different level. Two days before move-in, which was the first time they allowed me to view the apartment, is when I realized it was COMPLETELY DIFFERENT from what we agreed on. No granite countertop, lower ceilings, EXTREMELY SMALL closets, and the layout was not the same. I was extremely disappointed in the way management handled the situation but I did get all of my money back (minus the $220 application fee). The Management team is horrible, unhelpful to their tenants, LIARS, unprofessional, misleading and extremely rude and inconsiderate. It s a shame that these people are the faces that represent Avalon.

Time is definitely NOT WELL SPENT HERE. THEY WILL WASTE YOUR TIME, MONEY AND ENERGY.

My recommendation would be to look in the surrounding area or try the new Avalon East, it s a little pricier but the management team is much more reliable and upfront.
