I have been living here for 9 months, soooo happy is almost over, don't waste your money and time here, is not worth it, nothing is like the leasing office tells you when you are about to sign the lease, there is a lot of noise in this building due to cheap construction, the staff is rude, the area is full of ghetto people and there is also vandalism in the area, the price of the rent is too high for what you get, dont be fool by the apperance. mgFDbN4-dhkSMZ7zRmVH

I agree- I am also a resident at Avalon on the Sound East and am counting down the days til my lease ends as well- except mine still has 9 months left!

i totally agree with you hapyisalmostover. i moved in a week ago and i just got ripped by getting my car booted for 48$ since i am a "resident" and not a "Future Resident". i am thinking about using the 30Day guarantee. any thoughts? These people are not better than blood sucking worms.

We too have been facing a lot of crap from the leasing officers at Avalon on the Sound - East. Each time we call up, they promise us that something within our budget is available but when we reach there, they change the options. I have been to their premises at least 3 times. On one such occasio, we had almost finalized the deal and came the next day to sign it. To our horror, they conveniently increased the price by $150 stating that they made a mistak.e The manager (Oscar) and his entire staff is unprofessional to the core. They are forever making glances to each other and keep changing their responses - you feel as if you are amongst cheaters. God bless you if you have to deal with their leasing staff. Abhistu

Aside from the building being built with the cheapest materials on the planet...the elevators break EVERY WEEK. It is not safe, and SEVERAL people have had to be rescued by the fire department already. IF you move in here you will regret it that i promise you. The city should be involved, and this building should be shut down until it is up to par. I pay a lot of money for my parking spot, and i'm on the 6th floor! The elevator breaks all the time, and i get stuck walking up and down 6 flights with bags, groceries, etc...it is a disgrace. It is criminal what goes on in this --------.
