I have lived here in the building for several months and I am very happy here. I am aware that there are some residents who can be upset however there is fine line between the truth and just being dramatic. This morning I was trying to work out and there was this annoying guy just yapping away about the community and how much he hates it here. I really think that as a man he is just needs to shout his gossiping mouth and if he does not like it here then he should just move and give me peace of mind so that I can enjoy my morning work out. That's my only complaint!

The staff is very helpful and wonderful. All the girls in the office are always upbeat! Residents will always have a issue those who complain are just miserable.

do you work for avalon? or what? they damaged my car and they did not do anything! Do you understand this!? they ----ed up my car in the parking lot while they were towing it! I had to spend $1000 to fix the car and Avalon did not do a thing. They actually accepted that they towed the car by mistake and they gave me the towing fee back but they said it is not their problem that the towing company damaged the car!!!! I don't know how much they are paying you to write reviews here!

Why are some people so bitter? When someone writes a positive review, someone always has to say that that person works for the Avalon. I work out at the gym nearly every day, I've noticed only one broken piece of equipment (and it has a sign on it). I hope you have reported the broken ones, as that could be dangerous to others. I do feel sorry for all the bitter people in the world.

Hey Betty21, How long have you worked at Avalon on the Sound East? If you don't like the complaining, maybe you should join Bally's. I hear all of the equipment is in working order there! I work out in the Avalon gym every night and always happen to find a broken piece of equipment. Let the complaining begin! I'm on his side. One last thing...Proofread what you write before you post it!

just wait until this reviewer has a problem and the leasing office won't do anything for her, and see how "upbeat" the leasing office girls are! I have lived in the Avalon for 9 months and I have had problems from day 1. I would warn anyone against moving here. Every person I have met in the building has had their own horror story, and we all can't wait to get out of here! I have not met ONE person who is happy with the building.

Someone needs to make this only review thing objective.. there are clearly people that work for avalon on here. Anyway.. I think the truth is that avalon is mostly crap.. although there are many positive things you can say if you look hard for them. Also, if you have money to obsolutely burn, the place is not that bad. I know someone who has gotten booted every other day costing $$$ but they didn't care, they had money to burn.. If you don't have money to waste and are living on a tight budget, Avalon is not the place to live. You will have many additional expenses inccured and problems to deal with, if you have a personal assistent you may have someone to deal with any problems that come up so you are prepared. In many ways, the people that have had a good experience are lucky, many people have not. It really is a crap shoot. I can't tell anyone they will or won't be happy in this place.. you have to ask yourself whats right for you.
