If the point of this website is to help people decide whether or not they want to live in the bldg then I would recommend it-especially since they will not have to go thru the construction delays the way the rest of us did. I never thought it would happen but things have really come along and I'm happy. I agree with alot of the posts on here regarding delays, etc but the roof is open now and the lounge is going to be open (I think!!) soon. The doormen are some of the nicest guys and actually I like management too. I don't think I was ever lied to. It doesn't make sense that the sales agents would lie about certain dates for construction but yet they still work here. My cousin does construction in Manhattan and says this bldg is nothing compared to the nightmare delays and problems he has seen. I just received my renewal lease and I'm a little pissed off that they raised the rent because this was a hard year but the increase was the same as rent-stabilized increases. My friend at another bldg in the Financial District got a rent increase of 15%! Compared to the other buildings I've seen this is definitely the best. Let's face it, they don't make buildings like they used to! I agree with one of the other postings that if there is a problem management does fix it and its done quickly. So, yeah I like it and think you might too.
