There are so many things written on this site that are simply false. Any anonymous posting site will get its share of complainers or anyone willing to say anything for that matter. The building is actually really nice and it's ashame some people base their apartment searches on this site's comments. Everybody wants their rent to stay the same but in Manhattan that just isn't going to happen. So, what do people do when rent is raised' They complain and say the most negative things possible to damage the building and its' staff. The staff is all very hard-working, always busy but always friendly too. Terrible management' Everything is fixed so quickly around here! The problem is also there are people who live in the building that just can't get over the delays in construction. Well, the building is now done, it's gorgeous and 85% of the people are happy. Get over it people. Hopefully, the negative people will leave because the overall vibe of the building is positive and the staff is definitely caring. I highly recommend seeing the building for yourself rather than listening to any comments on this site. I also recommend a 2 year lease so your rent won't increase!

This can only be a post from someone working in the management office. First, a statistical comment (85%of people are happy??) and then advice to sign a two-year lease. How pathetic.

Actually, I'm a resident of the building and I totally agree with the reviewer's comments. The "statistics comment" is just a random thing pulled out of thin air, yes, but that's been my experience as well -- just about everyone I talk to loves the building and has good things to say about the management. As for signing a two-year lease, the reviewer was suggesting as such in response to the people who complain about high rent. Although I would have told them to move to Staten Island if they wanted cheap rent, the reviewer makes a point. I love this building and I'm really happy with management (though they do seem overworked). I will definitely renew in May.
