...now we're comfortable and we love it here. We were living here for about 3 months before the construction was completed and yes there were delays but now it couldn't be better.
We just renewed also but this time for two years and I recommend you do the same. Not sure if the owners really want people to renew for 2 years or not since the renewal offer was the same price for 1 or 2 years and maybe they would make more money if you only stayed a year so they could put the apartment on the market for more than they offered the tenant but 2 years was the right thing for us.
As I write this my husband is getting some food and drinks together so we can go to the lounge and watch the Yankees in the playoffs!! The lounge is so nice and we should be taking advantage of it more than we do. The gym is incredible and anyone on here complaining about the gym is just a hater.
I actually don't have complaints about Management although some are easier to deal with than others.
All in all, great place and we're very pleased. Would we move into a building under heavy construction again' Probably not but it all worked out.

I was right there with you in October (only the Mets are my thing--sorry). I renewed for two years as well, though I think it's to the benefit of the owners to have renters in as opposed to the rigor and additional cost of putting the apartment back on the market. Two years is a good balance because the market will not change so drastically in a year that they will loose more than if they didn't have a tenant.
