At first it seems beautiful, perfect, no problems. The gym is huge and appears awesome. The appliances are top notch. Everything seems great, until you look a little further.
Here are some of the problems we've encountered so far, and we've been here less than two months:
- The bolt lock on the front door was so tight we couldn't open our door at times. This got fixed a week later.
- The gym allows people that work nearby to use the gym. After work the gym is so crowded you can rarely use the machines that you want to.
- There are significant scratches in the paint and windows.
- There are blemishes on the marble in the bathroom which look extrememly tacky.
- The washer/dryer does not work correctly and some of our shirts were ruined by it. It's been over a month since we contacted management and nothing has been done.
- The A/C and heater work when they want to.
- A lever on the shower broke and we couldn't use it didn't work properly for two days.
- The toilet clogged three times in the first three weeks until they finally sent someone to snake the toilet.
- There are a lot of dogs in the building, which is great, other than them barking all of the time and shitting and pissing in the hallways and elevators.
- The walls are extremely thin and you can here everything that goes on.
- There are not enough restaurants that stay open during the weekends nearby, or places that deliver.
Overall it seems like a nice place, until you realize you're paying $3200 a month for a 600 sf one-bedroom that pisses you off.
