As your neighbor in another newly converted building I know what you are going through right now but it will get better.
Just 7 months ago my building was under heavy construction and there were problems, problems and more problems. Just know that it will end. It will get better. I'm convinced that construction companies are the real problem. They lie to the owners, the salespeople and its us, the people who live there that have to suffer.
I don't think the leasing team are the enemies as some people like to assume. I am friends with the leasing staff at my building and they are given dates by construction and that's what they have to go by.
It sucks that rent is so high but this is Manhattan. If we want Manhattan we must be willing to pay the highest rents in the world.

Dude, I hear what you are saying but you need to pay a little more attention to whats being said here on this thread. It's not just noise, or things taking a long time to be finished. It's the lies about what things are/were going to be like and the lack of effort to make things better from Management. The brochure shows this gorgeous roof deck with views of the water. The actual roof deck is on the 11th floor with views of nothing but other buildings and no way any sunlight could ever hit there. Animal urine stains on the rug in common areas for over 2 months that never get cleaned. A gym no larger then 750 square feet (no joke) cramped with equipment that is still not all working after being opened for almost 1 1/2 months. The building being marketed as a full service white glove building, but no one ever at the front door to open it for you. The tenant lounge has been opened for a month now, and the 8 ball is missing out of the pool table balls, and the que ball is chipped. And has been that way for 2 weeks and still not replaced! Of course things will get better, this can't get any worse! There is so much more I can write in here and waste my time complaining to the same people that are feeling the exact same way that I do. All of us tenants need to get together and DO something.
