Hi,

I'm also about to sign but I'm a little scared now that I've seen all these concerns. How are the appartments' These mosquitoes, is it really some kind of infestation' Is the noise and smell from other apartments that bad' What about the construction noises' Is it very loud and early in the morning' How long will it take for them to be done' Sorry to write so many questions.

the apartments are nice, new. don't have bugs in my apartmnt. don't know how long it will take for construction but i think it is about done. neighborhood very noisy many projects on going. ciao.

most of the complaints are exaggerated. i too havent had bugs & I havnt smelled other apartments food in my apartment. i wake up at 8 to my alarm clock, not construction noise.

horsesh*t I say! the vent system is paper thin, and I smell cig smoke, food cooking and noise from neighbors like they are in my apartment. and it's not that they are loud, just a crappy vent system. the walls are thin too, so thats reason number 2. the apartments are put together half assed, so you will notice stupid little things wrong all over the place once you are living in it and really inspect your apartment. rugs are rarely cleaned, so you'll see doggy piss stains on the rug for weeks, elevators are slow and still not rehabbed yet. haven't had any bug problems, but hey, I've only been here 1 month so anything is possible. uneven floors, walls not painted, overspray everywhere, the list goes on and on... trust me, avoid this place like the plague.

The first 2 people are obviuosly management. Have you ever woken up at 4AM and you small toe is as big as your big toe? Thats how bad it is. The smoke from other apartments is gross and the barking and yelling is all around 24/7. This building is horrible and the management is a bunch of biggits. DO NOT SIGN! they make you sign WAAAY too many papers to keep you quiet including one that you cannot talk to other people about the building in a bad way. I guess no one here read that...

The paper they have you sign to not be able to talk "badly" about the building is in no way shape or form able to be enforced by the land lord. We can go on TV if we want, and they still can't do squat. Just a way to scare uneducated tenants into not speaking up about this dump. Oh yeah, and don't sign the lease!

and if you're a woman you will have construction and building people staring at your chest. yes, we have bugs -- mosquitoes and fruit flies (even thoguh we never have food or anything around), the construction noise is very, very loud, smells are pretty bad at times.
