Although I have had MANY grievances about the management, the shoddy workmanship of the apartment and the delay and inadequacy of the amenities, I have learned to live with (and actually really like) my apartment. The building seems to get better with time and the staff (excluding the management) are fantastic!
HOWEVER -- we now have a RAT problem!!! Yes, you heard me correctly! There have been a couple of sightings of rats (both in the common areas and in actual apartments). I for one am absolutely DISGUSTED!! I hate mice -- but RATS -- this is ridiculous, especially for the amount of money we are paying! They claim to be "fixing" the problem, but what exactly does that mean. I hope management does a better job than what they have done addressing all of the other problems in the past!

Hi There. I live in 100 Maiden Lane and have been there for about 3 months. I can confirm the rat situation as I went away for a 2 week vacation and when I got back my apartment was infested with rodent pellets. Not to mention they took some of my undergarments and tried making a nest with them under my couch. It took managment 10 days to plug up my vents and holes. They said I was the only one with this problem but now I know this is not true. It's horrific that we pay so much to live in a so called "luxury condo style building" when we have to deal with rats.
