I absolutely would not recommend this apartment building. Here are some reasons why:

1. Leasing agents assured me numerous times my apartment would be ready by Sept 1st. I moved in Sept 19th with only 4 hours notice.
2. It's October 21 and my stove still doesn't work...that's over a month and counting that Iāve had to eat out (or eat microwave foodāmmm, mmm, mmm).
3. The staircase in my apartment looks like a pile of crap. Management has been ignoring me for the past month.
4. I still have no closet doors. My bathroom vanity mirrors are cracked and still have not been replaced.
5. My roof leaks.
6. The concierge has already lost a package of mine, which was a birthday gift. It took two weeks to replace.
7. The workmanship of the entire apartment is sad. Before moving to NYC I was a carpenter for 8 years. Iāve seen few things worse then this. Too bad I signed the lease after only looking at the model apartment and 3 unfinished apartments. I should have requested to look at a finished apartment. For example, I don't think they painted my apartment with any paint other then primer (the base coat that goes under the real paint if you're wondering).
8. Upon moving in, management noted 15 items that needed to be fixed. Three weeks later only two minor items had been fixed. It finally took a new bldg manager to get anything done, and even that has not been much more successful.
9. Management is completely inept and powerless to fix/do anything. That or they just donāt care enough to do their job?
10. etc., etc. etc.

All of this might be bearable if it wasn't for the smug SOBs who keep telling me everyday they'll take care of it and never do. I'm tired of being LIED to every day, and so will you if you actually move into this bldg.

***Iām all in for the tenants association!!! Anyone else?

Anonymous, email me at salallende@hotmail.com, I share the same concerns and would like to start a tenant's association. I know from stories I've heard from other tenants, that a tenant's association is something Management fears most. To one resident Management wrote to a tenant, "we will give you 2 weeks free rent for your troubles if you agree not to engage in starting a tenant's association".

i heard people talking in the elevator that ibblues was working in the building but he was deemed tooo ugly, the tenants got together to say they couldnt look at him anymore and he finally went home crying.

ibblues, its ok that you are an ugly midget. dont worry about it. you'll find your girl.

ibbluesisugly is really the ugly person here and so obviously management trying to deflate the situation. Just grow up - as per the orginal posting do your job and make this a better place to live in or suffer the wrath of a tenants association which will mean you doing more work and getting paid less !!!

whats wrong with you people, I'm a girl and I'm not working in the building. I'm a tenant who was delayed moving in by a month, not off from work for 19 days.
