I was really happy living here in the beginning, but some recent changes are very annoying. What the hell is up with packages being held at the laundry place' It's NOT 24 hours and that guy isn't even around on Sundays or during lunch time!! Besides, it's not like that don't have space to hold packages, in fact, there's even MORE space than there was before since the dry cleaners moved to the back! Because I have so much damn time to call every time I get a package so that they'll hold it up front! SSOOOO stupid.

Furthermore, that $30 left-your-key-in-your-apartment-and-now-management's-go that's completely bogus. If I wanted to pay for when I leave my key in my apt, I'd live in a freakin' brownstone or some similar POS! Mgmt said I could leave a copy of my key with the doorman, but I don't think I should have to go to such trouble when they have copies of the keys in a stupid drawer at the front.

Finally, I second any comments that the doormen don't do much. Up the street at liberty plaza, those doorman jump to open the door or start pushing the turn-door everytime I look at them, whereas here they barely pause their phone conversations even when I'm carrying crap in.

On the upside, at least they got the other laundry rooms open (after only 8 months of waiting), but who knows how long until the parking is up and running (probably another 8 months!).

In general, my apt is pretty quiet and I don't hear much noise from the street, nor have I ever had or heard about any rat issue (other than on this board). This place could be really nice if they just stopped changing stuff for the worst and brought back more logical services.

My girlfriend lives at 10 Liberty and I live here in 100 Maiden. Do you have any idea what 1 bedroom apartments are going for up the block... starting at $3500! What do you pay at Maiden??? I know I pay almost $1000 LESS then that. If you want someone to kiss your ass when you go home then come out of your pockets. It???s New York City, stop whining you get what you pay for. The fact that all of our packages and dry cleaning are left in the back and it's impossible to pick them up after he leaves at 7pm sucks but... there is a very easy solution to this people. Set up an account with the valet so you can have your credit card charged when anything arrives. After you do this the valet guy will then give everything to the doorman so you can pick up your packages and cry cleaning when every you feel like coming home. O yeah??? My AC was giving me a problem at the beginning of the summer but it was fixed that same day.
