The doormen have no idea who actually lives in the building - anyone can just walk in. The staff is incredibly unhelpful and generally the most miserable people I have ever had to deal with. They did a shoddy job of quickly converting the apartments from office space and in many places it is clear they never quite finished the work and no one has come to finish the job. The location of the building is not good. There is serious construction going on across the street and the noise persists through quite late at night (1am or later) on a daily basis. This noise is especially bad for anyone with windows facing Pearl Street or Maiden Lane. Did I mention it is hideously overpriced. I've heard better things from my neighbors on 99 John, 100 Wall, and 2 Gold. If you must be in the financial district, stay clear of 100 Maiden.
