LOVE this place --> the doormen are AWESOME! - Plaza West is hands down one of the best apts for its value. I moved in after college and lived there for two years with a roommate and we converted a 1BR into two. We wanted to be in the heart of Manhattan and were more interested in prime location than having huge bedrooms in an obscure part of the city. Nearly every single subway line is on 34th street and within three blocks ?? if you are ...Full review of Plaza West

Parc Place Now Rector Place:Condo's and Apartment's - Parc Place Now Rector Place: Everything this writer has written is past tense. Yes there are some rough spots when a building first exchange s hands. Construction goes on and things may not be pleasant for a while. Everyone knew this was coming and they had a choice deal with it or leave. If it were so bad to live there why did the people fight to stay? Oh and by the way, they won. best apartment we have lived at - Hands down, this apartment building is really amazing. It is run like a high-class hotel. For example, upon move-in, we were told to just leave all of our boxes against the wall in the hall and the staff would pick up everything. We were told not to worry. It was done literally minutes after we informed the front desk that the boxes were out. This is just one small example of how ...Full review of The Solaire

Great Apartment - I have lived here for a year and loved it so much I renewed my lease for another year. The staff (minus 1 doorman) is pleasant and easy to deal with. Repairs get fixed very quickly. Great unobstructed views of the river from most apartments as well as rooftop access. The walls are EXTREMELY thick and I have never heard any noise from my neighbors. The Super and management company (Brodsky) ...Full review of Riverwatch

Below average - - Renovations are not good quality and apartments are not fully painted/cleaned before occupancy (i.e. scratches, dents, loose floor tiles, holes in window frames, dirty surfaces, etc...). - Gym is unventilated and unbearably stuffy. - Noise is serious problem on the lower floors while cellular reception is not available on the higher floors. - Building management/services ...Full review of The Epic

too noisy and terrible valet - omg. i can't wait to move out when my lease is up. it is so noisy. we hear all the neighbors around us - up, down, next to us and we can hear also them talk through the vent. the heat/ac units are as bad, it's is like sleeping next to an airplane turbine. plus, there are 2 construction sites nearby and they are drilling early in the morning. on top of that, the valet ...Full review of 50 Murray Street

Suprised at these reviews - I happened to stumble upon this site and found this.I used to live at the Breslin many years ago.We had a doorman and the lobby was only for tenants. The rent was the cheapest ever and I never had a problem with the management. The bathroom toilet clogging up by another tenant got out of hand once and sometimes the noise was uncalled for at odd times but that's New York City.I never had a ...Full review of Broadway Breslin

Good once you're in the building, but application process is a nightmare - The in-building staff is excellent and the building is kept clean and in good repair. It was very pleasant to live there. Everyone reading this should know that the central office staff in charge of leasing SHOULD BE FIRED, and then re-hired for a minute, only to be fired again. You cannot get into this building without dealing with the rudest, meanest, most disorganized and ...Full review of Midwest Court

Would Brad Pitt Respond to Apartmentratings.com? - Would Brad Pitt Respond to Apartmentratings.com? Apartmentratings.com is the National Enquirer of the apartment industry. It has given an anonymous voice to the general public to speak out against their apartment management and expose their dirty little secrets.
