Great Building, OK location From: marroger Date posted: 12/28/2005 Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2005   The building is amazing. Brand new, clean, well maintained. The gym is actually a FULL gym, not just a couple treadmills. Doormen are top notch. I moved from another doorman building in Midtown and there is no comparison. I have lived in a large one-bedroom, flex that I share with a roommate for 6 months. Makes the rent very affordable (for Manhattan) Only complaint would be the area which is somewhat desolate at night and on the weekends. It works out fine for me because I am close to work and a 10 min walk or short cab ride to SOHO and other nightlife. But if you are someone that needs to be in the middle of the action, this might not be the place for you. Not a lot of mid-range food options around at night and on the weekends. High price Tribeca resteraunts or the McDonalds or Quiznos around the corner. I love the building and the location works out great for me. Highly recommend with the small caveat about the neighborhood.
