Love the building but not the rude 20-somethings From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 6/21/2006 Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2006   I moved into 2 Gold at a time when the buliding was 80% empty. It was great for a while, but then the college kids started moving into their overcrowded apartments. They are disrepectful of other 'mature' tenants in the building. Their parties spill into the hallway, and they don't try to keep their voices down; they steal all the laundry carts; they can't be bothered to walk 3 more feet to put their smelly, leaky trash in the garbage shoot but instead throw it on the floor in the compactor room so I have to step over it, and sometimes they throw their trash in the recycling bins -- who cares about the porters who have to sift through their garbage; they leave their beer bottles on the rooftop deck when there are garbage bins everywhere. Let's face it, they are just too cool to conform to a respectful society. I love my apartment and thought I would stay here for a while, but now I'm glad I didn't renew my lease for two years. Rockrose can make a choice, keep the beer swilling, loud-mouthed children out or lose all their decent tenants and have a dilapidated building on their hands.
