Frat House for Kids with Rich Parents

I lived there for two years. When I first moved in, I was under the impression that this would be a professionally run, high-class building. After six months, I realized the opposite: RUDE college kids/20 somethings who just started working in NYC who leave a mess in the hallways with their food, gym is not well maintained (e.g., machines are broken), front desk is like the college RA with keys to everyone's apartments (most high-rises have a computer system that tracks when keys are lent and the front desk is always careful about who they let into an apartment when that person claims he was locked out), dog droppings left on the terrace, beer bottles thrown from the terrace, the list can continue.
Most of all, the residents talk loudly on their cell phones in the elevators like it's Grand Central, usually are reluctant to hold the door for anyone except themselves, and try too hard to dress like Paris Hilton. I was too embarrassed to invite any friends/work colleagues to my home. I've finally moved to a wonderful building in the East Village run by a better management company. It doesn't tolerate loud, messy tenants. People dress professionally there and carry themselves with a sense of decency. I wouldn't be surprised if the building goes coop someday.
