THIS WAS AWFUL

This was the first place I lived (and wished I didn't) in NYC. I was subletting for 5 months with another roommate. To give you an idea, I was living in a 6 x 12 ft room for $1350/month and my roommate was paying $1250/month and her room was about 9 x 9. It was tiny, unrenovated. Then when the lease was up, the mgmt wwas AWFUL! They wanted to do renovations, so they kicked us out on day early...which I'm sure you can imagine how awful that was when we had to move all of our things to friends' places for 2 days because of their unreasonableness. Here is the best part- the mgmt tried to raise the rent for this converted studio that they call a "2 bedroom" bc there are fake walls, and no one even ended up stay in there!!! Point blank, don't waste your time or your money.
Good things- very nice super and cute entrance. The rest was awful...

I've seen a "converted" apartment or two in this building. I don't know how people can live like that. Taking what should be a nice studio apartment (around 500 sq. ft.) and turning it into a two-bedroom is insane. Total greed on the landlord's part.
