The building staff (doormen) are for the most part wonderful (in particular Marcos, Matt, and Jean-Michel) but the leasing staff are awful -- rude, unhelpful. Construction is unending -- expect not to be able to use your apartment during the day as construction noise is unbearable, and water (in particular hot but also sometimes cold) is routinely cut off. Windows are paper-thin (which makes heating in winter and cooling in the summer expensive) and the AC units haven't been upgraded since the 70's, so they're extremely loud.
