in theory it could have been worse...

lived at 33 Gold for 2 years, had problems with management from the very first month we lived there. the spaces themselves are pretty cool, but structurally have minimal "usable" space. consistent unexplained additional charges showed up on our rent bill. washing machines / dryers were frequently broken - and seldom fixed in a timely fashion. elevators frequently broken (sometimes both at the same time). no phone calls to report problems were returned, attempts to talk to building management were met with incoherent screaming (seriously). ventilation was a serious problem (especially if you live on the interior of the building, as I did). essentially, if you need a cheap apartment, this might help you, but you may not think it's worth the hassle.
