This building is run by a "slum lord" who doesn't seem to care at all about the tenants. The building is pretty run down. Management hires cheap foreign born labor to fix things-they never seem to fix anything correctly. There have been problems with roach infestation. Most residents are students. This is okay-except they tend to party with very loud stereos especially on the weekends. The space in all the apartments is cramped. The bathrooms are very small. There have been problems with leaky faucets, showers, and radiators. The walls between apartments are very thin-you can hear too much from adjacent apartments. This is a walk up building-no elevator. There is no doorman...and the front door lock on the street is often broken or propped open allowing anyone to wander into the building. Recent residents include some Latin American women that appeared to be operating a brothel...all types of men went to one apartment at all hours of the day and night and only stayed less than an hour. There was aluminum foil covering the windows of this apartment so you could not look in from the street. Security is definately not existent. There are no security cameras and most people do not know each other since there is so much turnover. There is a public laudromat on the first floor-that emits noxious fumes that get into most apartments. This place is lousy!
