Great building, great staff, nasty leasing agent

I've lived in this building for almost 6 years, its great and my rent doesn't go up very much year to year, however the leasing agent, Anne Cauvin is the nastiest woman you have ever met. She basically screams at you for any question you may have about your lease and will scoff at your salary, she even added "thats all you make''" The super is nice and i love all of the doormen and maintenance men, they are so helpful. Just be warned that ANNE CAUVIN is a nightmare!!!

I completely agree! Anne treated me like I was an idiot, a dog, a thief and a second rate citizen. I took her abuse for a month as I was negotiating having my current roommate move out and a new one move in. This post would be too long if I were to tell you everything she said/did to us. We are going to write letters to the landlord, owners, news channels, newspapers and the city of New York. Yes, it was that bad! She and I got into an explosive fight when we went to sign the lease on Wed. I couldn't take it anymore! If you would like, I can include your story in with ours, including anyone else's info that you know of who had a bad experience.

She was the biggest ----- to us when my roommate and I signed for a lease 2 years ago. She also laughed at my roommate's salary, she has very unaccomodating hours, and she a disgusting fat body. I am looking to renewing my lease with someone new and am dreading dealing with her again. This sucks.

Guys, I'm 100% with you. Anne Cauvin is the biggest b@tch ever! I cant believe that someone could ever be so nasty. She obviously was ill treated as a child, bullied in school, a loser in college (if she ever went), and now holds the ever so glorious job of being a leasing agent nazi...I am amazed that she hasnt been fired yet. And yes, I agree, she must be the fattest most disgusting looking women I have ever seen, i think she may be a man! I can go on and on about this nazi, but its not worth my time....but this is just a warning to any who need to deal with her!

Its amazing how many people share this reaction!! I've been in the building for 4 years and every year I have signed a new lease with new tenants and every year, Anne screams at me and says the rudest things to me. One time she asked me if I had transvestites living in the apartment and another time she told me that she isnt running a brothel, just cause I wanted new people to move in. I was going to renew my lease for another year, but the c--- finally drove me out of the building. I love the building and the doorman, but I say good riddance to that nasty SOB. Once I move out, I will try everything in my power to get her fired!! Just thinking about her makes my blood boil. She should NOT be in this industry.

I truly can't understand how the owner of 360 West 34th Street can allow an agent like Anne Cauvin continue working for them. There is so much negative feedback written about her. Isn't there anything nice to say about this woman? One thing is for sure, I definitely would not look into renting an apartment in this building because it's very intimidating for me to have to know that I would have to deal with this Anne Cauvin. Although the building has a wonderful reputation as far as the doormen, maintenance men, and supers are concerned, and especially the location of 360 West 34th St., having Anne Cauvin as the agent is a deterent for prospective tenants.

Wow !!! My daughter is moving in on Thursday and during the process of getting approved,I thought she was joining an elite country club from the conversations she related with Anne. I advised her to not sign because of some of the abuse she received.What I really don't understand is why she is still the renting agent ? She really needs to go find another job and maybe some help also. I hope that someone on this blog organizes a group to get rid of this person. Take care of my daughter, pretty with blue eyes.

i thought i was the only one...the woman actually made me cry and i NEVER cry..i too had a roommate moving out and another moving in and i have never been treated so badly in my life...this happened two years ago and i'm still telling this story to people...i'm moving out in a month and i am so relieved that i will never have to come in contact with her again

I too had a hard time with this NAZI. She gave me ---- about every last detail. Anne Cauvin, at best is a fu*cking b*tch. I have to say, you can stand up for yourself 110% I think that's where she gains respect for you. I did, and fu*cking b*tch did calm the hell down. She decided she was going to pull some ---- the day of the lease signing and I was not having it. I said, "Do you want me to live there or not?" I contined, " I still have a place to live, so you let me know." She became a bit of a puppy dog... a rotten, stinky, droopy one. You'll be ok as long you stand your ground. Don't be Anne Cauvin fu*cking b*thc's doormat. Also, be warned they will try to charge you for a new counter top if you decide to use it as a cutting baord. So if you do, you deserve to pay up the whazoo. At the end of the day, her life is way worse than yours. She's hates herself, her job, her life and this is her sense of control in her world full of chaos. You'll be fine. Just watch yourself.

I thank God every night that I was not cursed with being Anne Cauvin. I have never had the dis-pleasure of working with anyone so much until I had to deal with this fat, disguting slob, sorry excuse for a person. She has no idea how to do business and I moved out of my apt for no other reason then the fact that I never wanted to deal with this B-tch again. We wanted to change one of our roomates and you would have thought that we had just proposed burning down the building!! She spoke to me as if I were asking the most atrocious thing in the world and actually cursed at me on the phone. She asked me if I thought that I lived in a circus and actually hung up on me in mid sentence. If you are thinking about renting at 360 West 34th, I would think again. No apt is worth having to deal with this witch.

This is the most hilarious thing ever...imagine if we counted up all the hours of our lives that ANNE CAUVIN inflicted misery upon us...it would be like a full-time job. Anne Cauvin is a horrible, soul-less human??? that is going to rot in hell every second of her after life. I live in a different Kibel Co. building and I would rather have someone jamming a rod in every orifice of my body than deal with her for longer than 10 seconds or hear that ------- scratchy ass voice in my voicemail. If you sign a lease, make sure you sign for TWO YEARS since it is worth $5,000 to deal with her every other year instead of every 10 months. My roommate told me that a person like that would never die...but is probably going to live into her 100s plaguing people with her HORRIBLE EVIL DEMONIC personality. I am so serious...if you are looking to rent at KIBEL...RUN because she is the ONLY PERSON who signs you up for the lease. God forbid you ask for something, she will just laugh at you and say something like "what...do you think i had my first drink of the day?" or even better when I said "It's up to you," she scoffed and replied, "OF COURSE, EVERYTHING IS UP TO ME." She is on a ------- power trip. I can't believe she has a son. I can't imagine her possessing any emotions besides complete disdain, anger and disgust for any other human being.

I currently live in 360 W 34th and I think these comments are hilarious. I want to share my own Ann story. When signing our lease, Ann informed me there is a "no animals" policy, even though existing tenants currently have both dogs and cats. I asked if it would be acceptable if my 5 lb. teacup poodle came to visit for a week (he's completely housbroken and small enough to fit in my purse). She smiled sweetly and responded it would be absolutely no problem at all! Still smiling, she continued "...but if you do that, the doormen will call us at the management company, we will call the lawyers, and the lawyers will have you immediately evicted." I think a simple "no" would have sufficed. Instead she had to be an odious, vile ogre about it. She should rot in hell.
That said, im curious to know, how did the court thing go??
