do not like the staff. i find one or two of the doormen to be absolutely rude. rude to my guests. rude to me. just unacceptable in a building where you are paying 3,300 for a one bedroom apartment. the handyman never truly fixes things. the building was built so horribly. the walls are so thin that i can hear someone WHISPERING next door. the walls are cracking. the air conditioners are not that great. i don't pick on every single thing but for that much money in rent, this should be LUXURY and i don't consider this building to be one of the good ones in the area. the wallpaper in the hallways is a mess. elevators look like they have gone through it! laundry room was advertised to tenants to be 24/7 -mysteriously recently the laundry room now closes at 10pm on the weekdays, 12am on the weekends. very inconvienent for someone who can't do laundry before those times, and i probably would not have moved in here at all if that was the case when i signed my lease. the building is definitely cheaper then the nicer buildings sorrounding us but it still is way too expensive for what you get, IMO. Go look at THE NICOLE on 55th..thats REAL luxury. This, to me is not. oh and the by the way, if you move in here and have to deal with the super - best of luck to you.. He is not very bright. But thinks he is the smartest. You are wrong. He is right. No matter what the situation. The entire staff talks badly about everyone, I see it happening!! They sit at their front desk and pick on people as if they are in high school. What a joke.. GET SOME PROFESSIONAL DOOR MEN!
