DO NOT LIVE HERE

This is the worst possible place to live.
Here's why:
1. The building is constructed directly above the 2,3 subway line. That means that every time the subway passes by, the entire building will rumble and shake. I am not kidding. It sounds absurd, but you've got to experience it to believe it. I should have known better and should have caught this before I signed the lease, but I didn't.
2. The management is horrible and there are no provisions in the lease that allow you to break the lease early. The only way out is if you find someone to take over your lease. I'm a lawyer and briefly researched this issue, and it looks like in New York, such leases are not valid. Way to go, Rockrose.
3. There is absolutely no sunlight on the lower floors.
4. Rockrose mails the rent check later and later each month -- are they TRYING their best to get their tenants to pay late fees'!
Stay as far away from this place as possible. I started living here in 2008 and CANNOT WAIT TO GET THE HELL OUT.

I totally agree with point #3. I lived here on the 8th floor in 2007-2008 and could not get out fast enough myself. It was like living in a batcave.
