Negotiate a rent reduction here

Has anyone tried to negotiate a rent reduction. I have the same problem as a previous poster. I lived in the building a long time and pay $3200 for a studio, whilst the same apartment is now renting for $2495. I would like to ask management to reduce the rent to the market value. It seems they treat their new tenants better than long time loyal tenants.

Yeah, Rockrose doesn't care if you're a current tenant. You automatically get half whatever they;d offer a new person. It makes no sense, but that's rockrose for you.

Look at your lease -- it is probably expired, which means you are now renting "month to month". Simply ask to renegotiate a rental agreement with the current market rate. You can either sign a new lease, or agree it's a month to month lease with the new rate. Otherwise, threaten to give notice.
