The Worst - This is the worst building in NY. They charge luxury rental prices, but this is not a luxury building. The management is rude. Everything in my apt is either broken or on its way out. The water is never hot. The elevator breaks every other day. The residents are noisy. The building smells from the supermarket downstairs. The security is awful. The doormen dont stop anyone trying to get ...Full review of Archstone Brooklyn

Way too Expensive... - I'm not a transplant. I'm a born and bread manhattanite. I know what things cost in NYC. I rented a studio in Le Rivage for $2,300 and the only think that I liked was the beautiful view of the Hudson and the Battery Park area during the warms months. Otherwise the fixtures are way cheap, the appliances small and crappy, and the bathroom institutional looking. The ...Full review of Le Rivage

Treated like they're paying you and not other way around. - This building is terrible from start to finish. Of course Related is in this business to make money...I get that...but they are also in the business of providing safe, clean, well maintained homes to their residents. That's what they do. That said the office staff treats you terribly. They behave more like you owe them something. I've lived in 2 other buildings in NYC over ...Full review of Monterey

Charity Cintron - If the review below don't convince you to run when you get to this building, just ask 5 tenants in the building about "Charity Cintron" who runs the building. I guarantee that at least 4 of 5 will vomit when hearing her name. You pay top dollar to live hear to get treated like crap. ...Full review of Two Lincoln Square

Wonderful Experience - What a gorgeous building. I've lived here for 4.5 years, and I still haven't seen a more impressive rental building anywhere in the city. Every aspect is remarkable, from the cool art deco exterior, to the bright, clean, lobby, to the large, modern apartments, to the breathtaking roofdeck. The views of the Chrysler building have to be seen in person to be ...Full review of Metropolis

Fair quality, OK service, and noisy - I've lived here for 2 years. The service in the building is OK. The daytime doormen are generally helpful. The others are sometimes more interested in talking amongst themselves (there are generall 2 doorman on duty) than helping residents. The other day I pulled up with a trunk full of packages and neither of the 2 attendants stopped their conversation to help me unload the car. I was ...Full review of Biltmore Plaza

Nice place - too much $$$ - Tribeca Pointe is a fine, modern, kid-friendly apt. building. I lived there for about 8 years this decade. Always felt treated well, even during the rough (read: unemployed) periods. Super location, nice river breezes. Brutal walk on Chambers street in dead of winter. Top-notch door guys. Worst part was writing the rent check every month - Ouch! ...Full review of Tribeca Pointe

- I've lived in this building for ages and it has gone through drastic changes for the better! It's so much cleaner and nicer now and most of the units are resident-owned so it's in everyone's interest to make the building better and safer. Laundry facilities are on each floor which makes it very convenient. Pets allowed in building. Super started in 2007 and is extremely nice ...Full review of 159 Madison

Called this place home for 21 years...MOVE IN! - I was born and raised in this beautiful apartment. I have seen the best, and the worst. Let's start with the worst...oh wait, there are no bad points to this building. My family and I are well acquainted with the concierge staff, the doormen, the maintenance staff, etc. They all know your name. They attend to your every need right away. Weird flashback as I write this. ...Full review of Carnegie Park

good place to live - I've lived here the past 2 years in a 1 bedroom apartment. The first thing you notice is how large the complex is. You have to take two sets of elevators to get to your apartment. The lobby is nice, though there is heavy traffic during the day with its associated wear and tear. The facilities include an olympic-sized swimming pool, a large deck overlooking Union Square with the most ...Full review of Zeckendorf Towers
