raising rents 20% with construction

Be aware if you rent in this building.
The street has been ripped up since May & will continue to be ripped up for months.
They also lure people in at a lower rate & then raise the rent 20 - 25% after the first year.
A lot of tenants are currently being booted as they can't afford $700 rent increases.
These are tenants who have paid rent in the building for 7 years (and not a low rent).
Noise & high rents, look elsewhere.
There are much better deals.
They really have no problems jackhammering at 3am either! I've put "poor lanscaping" below as the entire Wall street neighborhood will be a construction nightmare for years to come.
