I have lived at 71 Broadway for a number of years but plan to leave due to excessive rent and increasingly arrogant attitude of management.

Apartments are a good size and very well maintained.

Concierge and porter staff are wonderful and couldn't be more helpful, however building amenities are poor and even on the higher floors construction noise is continuous.

Rents are much higher than most other buildings in the area and can no longer be justified, management is simply taking advantage of longtime residents.

It's a pity I have to move but I could secure a better apartment with more amenities at a fraction of the cost in the same area.

Agree with the review. The leasing staff are definitely taking advantage of the long time residents who have made 71 Broadway their home. It is disappointing and disrespectful. Who wants to feel that they are treated like a cash cow?

where are you moving to that has better amenities and cheaper rents? I am looking at 71 bway and other apts in the area but I am not finding much that is at a cheaper rate for what this building is offering. thx for the help
