I originally loved this building and disagreed with friends who moved out over the past 2 years. They said that it was not being maintained. Well, I now must agree with them. Let's start by: Why don't they FIX the TV's in the gym...for teh past 3 years' Fix the paint/walls already. Where's the patio tables that were being ordered in 2007'' What's up with the 2 chairs in the lobby' The table with the coffee books is pretty funny. Maybe it impresses a 21 year old' Does it take another 35 tenents to leave to get the point' A fresh coat of paint is not going to trick people into moving into this building. The building is sold as a flex room place that will allow walls to be put up. How does 3 frat guys living in a 550 foot studio sound' The leasing office sucks and the receptionist in that office is beyond rude. I wonder if that has something to do with more people moving out''' The guys downstairs are great and helpful but it's not enough for me to stay.
They don't invest in the building and it shows. Poor upkeep, poor management leads to mass exodus. You can blame the economy to a certain degree but why do they have so many empty apartments''' You can't keep on raising rent by $200/mth and not invest in the building. I'm looking at 10 Hanovere Square, 88 Greenwich and 2 Gold. Better quality, better value, better building.
