I love this building. The construction noise on West Street and Albany Street was absolutely, painfully unbearable for about 8 weeks in Dec. / Jan., but things have quieted down. The building and it's staff are very dog friendly, and there is a nice mix of married / single / partnered residents. Great super and doormen, and the BPC waterfront and easy access to subway transportation are all major bonuses. We have about an inch of dirt on our windows due to lack of exterior cleaning, and we lose our water view when the sun sets due to sun hitting the grime - that needs to be fixed as we have not had a window washing since the building opened.

You're supposed to wash your own windows or get someone to do it. Ask the maintenance people how. The super should be telling you this and many other things (which he doesn't). Askabout the mysterious bike room while you're at it.
Great place - But the super is possibly "high-functioning".
