Anthem

 

I used to live in the Anthem for 2 years.

I am a 27 year old woman who works for a Financial PR Firm and have lived in NYC for my whole life.

I read reviews like the one before me and it makes me the think the rumors I heard while living in the Anthem are true: if you are --- man who is willing to flirt with ---- you will be fine, but everyone else is screwed!!!!

---- was not just cold or rude to me, he actually found ways to torture me.

I have read so many of your accounts of what he did to all of you and I guess this was just par for the course, but to me it was torture.

He would call my cell phone at all hours of the early morning, he would reschedule any work that was supposed to be done in my apartment so I would be waiting for workmen that wouldn't show until an hour after I got to work or a few days later when I would be surprised by a knock at the door by workmen.

The doormen there, who are VERY nice, tried to help me by notifying me of changes in my maintenance schedule or warn me when he was about to do pretty much anything to me.

I felt terrible when they started getting in trouble for it.

I did not have hot water or noise problems while living there.

The only problem I experience other than ---- ------ was that my dishwasher broke and it took 2 days for them to realize that they had turned off the water after the previous tenant moved out for some reason.

For me, ---- ------ is the whole reason I would not move to the Anthem.
