Building is nice, location is great, amenities are good, most staff are good, Rockrose is rotten

The building is in a great location.

Streets are not too busy, very close to the Hudson, restaurants, shops, conveinent to public transportation.

Great to have a grocery store, gym and dry cleaner right in the building.

There is also a small theatre in the basement that is not well known for very small plays.

In general, the staff is friendly and helpful.

Some doormen are better than others.

The rents are high and being a business person, I understand the need to get top dollar, but the way that Rockrose handles the renewal process is completely impolite to say the least.

After paying huge rents, you get a very nasty, almost vicious impersonal letter from the renewal coordinator based in the Rockrose office on Park Avenue.

If you do this by such and such a date we will start showing your apartment for re-rent.

Must have been written by the Gestapo or some mean lawyer.

Come on people, use a little tack.
