Do not live here. Terrible rude management staff (but nice custodial/desk staff). Elevators out routinely, other aspects of bldg. not as nice as advertised and often out-of-service. This is a corporate bldg. which is fine as logn as the tab is being picked up for you. (I won't get in to tax law and other reasons why this is good for such tenants, suffice to say I wan't to become a lobbyist) Ridiculous rent increase (over 50% for me in two years!) People move in and out all the time, virtually every day. No sense of communtiy like their once was. A joke to call this "luxury". $3k for a 500 sq. ft closet' No thanks, I will pay much less in a new construction and an equal, and potentially less for MANHATTAN which until now was unheard of. Noise is unbearable on occasion, parking impossible during the week. Go buy a place, your mortgage will be equal, maybe less. Archstone was just purchased by another conglomorate, they are milking tenants for all they are worth. A real wool-over-the-eyes situation. Fed up. Have had more than enough of this place and will never live in an Archstone building again.
