I've lived on the 34th floor since July 2007 and really enjoy the place. I can sympathize with the reviewers whose rent increased but overall, this place ranks pretty high for it's price range. My apartment is very quiet and my neighbors respectful even though it a very eclectic mix of students and professionals and retired.

The current staff is about as good as it gets in my opinion. And that includes doormen, front desk, cleaning, office and maintenance staff.

My only complaint is that the sidewalk on 50th is filled with high school students from the public school on 49th and 10th from 3-5PM during school sessions and they are extremely loud and rude. Basically, the city ships in gang banger crap from the burbs and we put up with them.
